10G OEO fiber to fiber media converter, can be used as Multimode to Single mode conversion or extend longer transmission distance. The 10G port can be SFP+ or XFP, such as SFP+ to SFP+, SFP+ to XFP and XFP to XFP. It supports data rate from 8.5Gbps t0 11.7Gbps, using DIP switch can set data rate, DIP No 1 ON means 1,25G~8.5G, OFF is 10.3G or 14.025G, our by default is OFF status. Different types of transceiver modules are ok for insert into it, such as SR, LR, ER, ZR or Bidi single fiber module, CWDM, DWDM and fiber channel module. It is up to customer’s application choose what transceiver module. 10G OEO converter also support 3R function, signal amplification and regeneration, waveform shaping, clock retiming (Re-Amplificated, Re-Shaped and Re-Timed). This product very easy to install, it has 6 LED lights direct show working status. Transparent transmission has low latency, it support jumbo frame and loopback. We have both Commercial desk type 10G OEO and Industrial Din-Rail version.

Typical application for end customer:

Sometimes customer equipment is Multimode fiber, but they want transmit longer distance, will add OEO in the middle, so two sides equipment are MM, in the middle add OEO transmit via single mode fiber, see below picture shows:

Another version is with OEO, re-amplified, re-shape and re-timed, extend transmission, like below picture shows ZR is 80km, add OEO in the middle, can reach long-haul transmission distance.
